How much should coaches tell MLB scouts

Should coaches tell MLB scouts about any off field incidents with alcohol or drug use with his players.

I think coaches should be very careful to tell anyone anything unless they have pretty valid reasons and first hand knowledge to do so. Hearsay and presumption should not come into play.

If an individual is a known alcohol or drug abuser of course a scout should know this. A good scout will find out about this kind of behaviour one way or another.
