Is there a reason for them to have one on line and one you mail??? Sure he is going to do what they asked.

Just wondered if this is the way its always done.

Lots of potential guesses as to why:

1) Some college coaches are not real comfortable with the web and email

2) Their processes for getting forms from the web into recruiting folders doesn't work very well.

3) They get so many web based forms that they ignore all of them and only pay attention to the paper ones that they ask people to fill out

It doesn't really matter why - as someone once put it to me - Recruiting at this stage is like a pickup game - and the coaches are the team captains who get to pick the players (and there are way more than 18 players waiting to play).

Don't ask questions just send it back -- and do it ASAP

maybe they cut back on ink at the office ...just kidding ...always send back anything a coach asks for in a timely manner. It's probably easier for him to keep a file as things come in.
