Nobody on base. The ball is hit to the 2Nd baseman's left. He makes a good play to field the ball but does not throw to first despite having plenty of time to make the throw.

Also, the very next ball was hit to the 3rd baseman that he had to come in a few steps to field. He throw to second and the runner was safe...he had an easy out at first.

Jmoff, I will come over and join you. Brought this here because I have been impressed by the people and the knowledge here.

Agree about FC on second one...but not hit on first question. If the ball is hit to a fielder and he just holds it and does not throw it to the correct base for the easy out, I don't see why it is a hit and not an error on the fielder.
