How would this be scored ?

A ball was hit sharply to third base (SS side). 3B fields the ball and proceeds to make the throw to first. The ball actually glances/richochets off of the umpire's head in the field (who is positioned behind the pitcher. Ball travels over the first baseman's head and out of play.

Wouldn't have beleived if I did not see it.

It may not seem fair, but this is E5. A thrown ball which strikes an umpire remains live. The throw subsequently went out of play, and so bases are awarded.

If you're coaching, it's an opportunity to go talk to that umpire...

On the way, you might want to tell the third baseman not to hit umpires in the head anymore.
