Looks like the coaches at HC are having recruiting success in the Metroplex -- which is no surprise to me. The roster is full of DFW kids -- escaping to Big Spring, home of a Long John Silvers. Smile Several have made commits to D1 or D2 programs as well. I hear there's another name to add to this list (just a rumor?).

Tommy Vukovich (Grapevine)
Tanner Ross (Brock)
Nick Popescu (FM) -- Texas Tech
Zack Anderson (South Garland)
Kyle Padden (Frisco Cent)
Bryan Johns (Allen)
Kane Kimrey (Rowlett)
Hunter Hill (PCA) -- Texas State
Brandon Parrent (FM)
Monk Kreder (Keller)
Stephen Niedwiecki (South Garland)
Miles Hamblin (Rowlett) -- Ole Miss
Joe Leftridge (Duncanville)
Evan Blakeley (HP)
Marvin Prestridge (Forney)
David de la Chapelle (Coppell)
Zach Neal (FM) -- Oklahoma
Jared Butler (Rockwall)
Will Calhoun (Duncanville) -- ACU
Corey Sartor (Euless Trinity)
Juan Villarreal (Seagoville)

Runey Davis (GTown) -- Mississippi State <- not DFW but a well-known name in this area.

Congratulations to Coach Smith --- GREAT WORK J.Bob and Jack! Cool

I agree.

But it's sure more entertaining than reading about try out camps, clinics, and what organizations or individuals have to offer to create a profit.
I don't understand why it was deleted. I wasn't trying to reflect poorly on Howard. I commend them for providing opportunity. They expressed interest in my son. Someone above asked what happened to Parrent and I just answered the question. I wasn't aware that was not allowed. I worry about that for all the kids.

I am a new member not some existing poster looking to work in the shadows.
Ok, Top Shelf -- we'll give you the benfit of the doubt. I didn't see your post -- you can send it to me in private if you want to know why it may have been removed. Concerning why this player decided to attend HC, rather than DBU, it seems that the reason was presented but others don't want to take it at that, choosing to speculate that it is something else or suggesting he made a mistake. I have communicated with this player's dad --- and they are happy with their decision, so why speculate further? All players are different. I see good things at DBU and I see good things at Howard College.

Top Shelf, we welcome your contributions. The message board rules are posted on the main site.

Welcome. Cool
