For those of you out there in the know, what does the county public league look like? And what of the private/parochial schools? Again...Howard County. Thanks!

In Howard County, Glenelg looks to be the top team. Looks as if their SS, Brookhart, will not be playing due to injury, but they return everyone off a team that underachieved last year. River Hill will be right there with them - solid line-up and some above average arms. Reservoir will have a chance to win with the top pitcher in the county, Cody Morris, but they will need some new guys to step-up if they want to 3peat in Howard County. Reservoir will also need to improve offensively. Marriots Ridge will be solid and Oakland Mills has 3 high quality arms - so I would put them just under the top 3. Watch out for Hammond, who has 2 GREAT freshman who will contribute right away. I do not think they will be at the top, but will be in the mix in the 2nd tier. Long Reach is improved, but not fantastic. Wilde Lake and Mt. Hebron should be down at the bottom.
Do not forget Howard as they return a lot as well.
You have a higher opinion of Howard than I do....they were mediocre last year, lost in 1st round of playoffs, and lost Dyer, Lee, their CF, and several others. The Wolf kid throws pretty hard, but has a below average breaking ball. They are middle of the pack at best, IMO.
River Hill very deep at pitching , all returning . They should be very tough . Lots of Bats in lineup , tons of speed , looks like there year .
