In general, hs 3 man positions/mechanics.
Would the below be correct?


U3 Positions–in a U1,U2,U3:

No Runners – D
Runner on 1st – C + the V
Runner on 2nd - D
Runner 0n 3rd – D
Runners on 1st & 2nd – C + the V
Runners on 1st & 3rd – C + the V
Runners on 2nd & 3rd – D
Bases loaded - C + the V




U2 Positions–in a U1,U2,U3:

No runners on – A
On base hits, always pivot, read
+ react to U3’s movement.
Runner on 1st – A
Runner on 2nd – B + the V
Runner on 3rd – A
Runners on 1st & 2nd – A
Runners on 1st & 3rd – A
Runners on 2nd & 3rd – B + the V
Bases loaded - A

Yep. The V can become the Slice.

The other note I would make regards the statement "On base hits, always pivot, read + react to U3’s movement."

First, on true base hits U1 does not react to U3...he has his own mechanics.

On flies or trouble balls to the OF, one BU normally keys off the other, but, depending on codes and local traditions, the lead BU could be either 1 or 3.
