Can someone tell me by who?

The players are nominated by coaches,scouts, etc. for power. This is a power event. Participants have high Perfect Game ratings, have strong HS power numbers, and/or come highly recommended. Information received on all is verified. Of course like many things this could be seen as subjective, but still an honor to players receiving the invitation.

My son was nominated when he was a sr back in 08. At that time they took one player from each state. I have no idea what they do now. They called college coaches , scouts in the area etc , looked at their HR stats the past year and over their career. Its all about the long ball at this event , period. We couldnt make the trip it was going to be pretty expensive as well. The guy that puts it on does a first class job from everything I have heard. And its a big fundraiser for HS baseball in the area.
