HS team is 1-4 on the year.

The first five pitchers we’ve faced:

SR 6’ RHP 90-92

JR 6’3” RHP 94-96

SR 6’2” RHP No radar but normally upper 80’s

JR 6’7” LHP 88-91

SR 6’3” RHP 89-92

RHP son is a 6’1” SR 85-87.  Gets a yawn when he takes the mound. WTH!  Not fair!  Anyone else have to deal with this?

Sounds like a good league!

Our younger son played in a HS league in CA that could have those types of pitchers.  But our team did too and so we won lots of games.

Son's Jr. year:

#1 starter - 90-93, after 3 years of WCC D1 was a supplemental round draft pick

#2 starter - 84-87 (our son), 4th year in Pac12 D1

#3 starter - 90-95, after 3 years as a SS at a Pac12 D1, now in the minor leagues

#4 starter - 87-91, lasted less than a year in D1 before injury and other things ended baseball for him.

That team was named #1 in nation by PG and Rivals.com after the year though.

I hope they would be because anybody better than that would be scary good.

No, we don't have to deal with that.  We have a handful of D-1 Guys in our state, and 2 of them are on our team.  (Maybe a few more than a handful, but not many more.)
