I have created a league through Yahoo for those who want to play. Seems that Yahoo has changed the invite process so if you  are interested either post or PM your email address and I will send you the invite. Also once we get enough teams we can decide on the settings, draft date, etc. I have these things in place so once you join take a look.We can always modify them..

I'm definitely going to play, and will PM my email to Joel.  That said, before we all decide that Joel is going to be commish, lets talk about how we're going to set up the league.  I've done this a long time, including in four or five HSBBW leagues in past years, and some go much better than others.  No offense intended at all Joel, but with "10+" posts here, nobody really knows you or what you're about.  I don't post on here much these days, but the old times all know who I am as I've been on HSBBW for about 8 or 9 years at least.  Most of the others who've replied have been around a while, so lets discuss what kind of league we all want to create.  I'd want to know that you're familiar with how to run a league and that it is set up to be a fun, enjoyable league.  I've seen good leagues and bad leagues, not interested in wasting my time with one that isn't fun. Joel, why don't you give us your views on some of the league details you envision such as scoring system, number of teams, etc.

As i said earlier, I have set up the league but can modify it any way we want. i have played fantasy football and baseball since 2001 I think. Played in "fun leagues" as well as leagues with significant buy in with $1000+ prizes. Currently playing a keeper baseball league that we've kept going (with complete strangers) for 5-6 seasons now. I have included things that I believe work but am willing to change anything. If you are unsure I will send you an invite, you can join, take a look and delete your team if you don't like it or stay. I am totally flexible on the settings. We can make it simple or as complex as we want.

On a personal note, I am a Sergeant with a Police Dept.in the Atlanta GA area. My oldest is a sophomore who has played ball since he was 3. Has played at East Cobb for several years and played Varsity ball last year. I have a daughter who cheers for her school and has cheered on competitive squads for several years. My youngest son is 9 and has been playing ball now for 5-6 seasons as well. I work overnight so I have a lot of free time in the afternoons before kids get home so its easy for me to be the commissioner but I don't have to be.
