when we watch a game, water our lawns, even complain about our leaders.we need to remember people like the colonel who fought to allow us the freedom we enjoy everyday. my prayers go out to you and your family.

My 18 year old son, a new service member of the U.S Air Force, will be flying home today in his dress uniform for a few days of leave before heading on to a new duty station. He has requested that he hand deliver your beautiful words to our family in need, upon his arrival home. I hope that will be acceptable and appropriate to you all. I know he will do his best to deliver your words with the utmost sincerity.
My heart is not as heavy today, for you, every single one of you, have comforted me by reaffirming my faith in humanity, and reminding me of the goodness this world has in it.
