If your cable or dish receives CBS-College Sports, then you can watch my son's football team play tonight.

Game time is 6pm Pacific. Should be a great pre-conference matchup, the #1 ranked team (Jesuit) against my son's #2 team, Lake Oswego.

My kid will be the undersized nose guard, #57, trying to fend off all those brutish offensive linemen trying to prevent him from doing his job.

It's a developing rivalry. Last year our guys shut th em out 21-0, ending Jesuit's 28 game winning streak which included two state titles.

This year Jesuit is very talented with speedy skill guys, and they will have revenge on their minds for sure.

High school football at its best!

I sure hope some of you watched this game. It was simply the best high school football game I have ever witnessed.

We scored the tying touchdown with 4 minutes left, but convert a two pointer to get the lead. Jesuit drives down and scores a TD to go up by 5 with 1:33 left (missed the 2 point conversion.)

A perfectly executed two minute drill drives us 65 yards to win the game.

Great atmosphere, national TV, terrific summer night.... this was something my son will remember forever.

Wow, just got to watch the end of the game. Great win!

Rob is too humble to say anything but the announcers said that Rob's son (Jeff) blocked the attempted pass on the 2 point conversion at the end of the game.

Nice!
Actually I'm not sure Jeff blocked that pass. He was close to the play, but I thought it was the D-end. I'll ask him.

In any event, he had a blast being a part of such an incredibly exciting game. I know he left it all out on the field (and had the stiffness on Saturday to prove it!)

It's also pretty cool to have a professional broadcast of the game for posterity.
