In my son's game today...
#4 batter is DH for the pitcher. In the 4th inning he walks. He is replaced by a pinch runner. In the 5th inning, the previously mentioned pinch runner comes up to bat in the #4 slot as the new DH. He crushes a double, then the opposing team claims he is an illegal batter. The ump rules in their favor saying that since the original DH left the line-up that the pitcher was then due up to bat. Batter who hit the double is called out. Does this sound right?
