Right there with you Infield. Today I picked up a baseball for the first time since our playoff loss for a pitching lesson. I think I've got a new pitch... yes another one... don't worry it's a variation. There's something that feels right when I stand on a mound. It can be dirt, grass, plastic or whatever, there's not much of a better rush in life than controlling a game (at least in my head).

I meant by pitching. I could never umpire.

As a pitcher, no umpire never gives enough strikes! Therefore I am against them.

It is really tough knowing that the hs baseball season is over... especially when you were picked to go WAY further!

Infield come out to Blossom tonight and help make some noise for the Rangers. I know it is not as good as still being in the playoffs but it helps.

Don't count on my son's support, however. He has friends on Smithson Valley's team and wishes y'all nothing but the best, but he and his teammates are still smarting from their loss on Saturday and attending tonight's game would be like rubbing salt in the wound.

Thanks, wish we could have that first inning back, we might still be playing. Woodchick had a tough first inning and the Westlake pitcher shut our boys down completely. Hopefully we can win tomorrow and force a third game.
