I hit 38 at 30, which is basically the same thing... Or maybe not. I always hated word problems.
If he can throw 90 at age 50, which I think he can, HOF voters may think he's just an incredible athlete, and not some guy who used PED's. (At least I suspect this is HIS thinking.)

I saw that show, too, and while it was speculation as to his motives, it made a lot of sense. Right now he's on the same ballot with Bonds and Palmeiro. The trifecta could well unleash a torrent of "no" votes on that class every year until none of them are even eligible any more. If he is trying to get out of that group and into a class where he can stand on his own and claim he was exonerated (which I don't believe, but that's what he'll say), I do think his odds go way up.

Things are bad enough in Houston that if he only throws one inning in the last home game of the season, at least it'll sell some tickets for that one game. So even if he gets shelled, I have to agree, this could soon be coming to a TV set near you.
