Assuming your arm stength is good and you have thrown sub 2.0 before...Footwork agility drills, exchange out of the glove are good starting points. Don't think power, think quickness and speed of movement. Also, if you are trying to gain too much ground or replacing feet on a jump pivot you'll be slow. Other than that, work.

Don't get too mired down by thinking too much, that'll certainly slow you down.

My son had this problem a couple years ago in a game where all the mechanics were good but just too slow getting there. Just told him not to worry too much about mechanics just move everything quicker but maintain rythmn.
