Get a tennis racket. Swing forehand and backhand, and then two hand swings. You'll notice that your contact point will be about the center of your body. Also you'll notice that your circular swing path will speed up as your swing becomes more fluid.

If you can translate this swing to a bat, you will have a fast, crisp, powerful swing.

you want hitting drills "that you can do in your room?" Are you crazy? Your mother will have a hernia!!

Move the car out of the garage (or go to the basement), put on some clothes and get out there and take "real swings" into a Jugs or Easton portable net! Then have Dad come work with you on Soft toss reps. There is no magic pill or easy room work out that will improve your swing ..... get outside, in the cold if necessary, and do the work.
