Pretty good camera work and nice production.
Had to chuckle when they were on the line for the anthem and the roll away was still on the field with no a soul in the stands. Just for TV, I get it.
Video got me thinking...
It's kind of sad how some programs such as Tarlton have somewhat lost their luster compared to years ago.
With so many new small school programs popping up all over the state, it's taken away from the edge that the few small schools once had in recruiting.
Back in the day, if you weren't a Southwest Conference recruit...your options were DBU, Northwood, Texas Weslyan, Tarlton, Hardin Simmons, etc., and various Oklahoma NAIA schools.
Now, there are small programs everywhere across the state which somewhat dilutes the concentrated talent that these schools once had.
Don't know if it's a good thing or bad.
More schools mean more opportunities...
But more programs mean diluted product.
It all comes full circle anyway.

The video has a message that should inspire everyone to be better at whatever they do. The message was scripted by the players and is taken to heart. Baseball is life to these guys, and if you ever wonder why kids choose to play college ball, just listen to the message and you will know.
Awesome video HRKB, very cool. It's good to know there are quality baseball guys all over this region. Kudos to your boys!

I have a ton of respect for that program, and the guys who played there. Have had some very impressive teams over the years. I have a number of personal memories on that field as an opponent.

Thanks for the comments...This is a very special group...One of the players is battling cancer nd recently started chemo...that is why they all shaved their heads. My son says he is not growing his out until his teammate completes chemo and can grow his back as well...Unfortunately, one of the players was in a car wreck last Sunday and broke his neck. He had an eight hour surgery yesterday and is expected to make a full recovery. This group has been through a rough fall, but they are closer than ever and support one another in everything they do. It is the ups and downs that pull you together or tear you apart. This group has grown closer together through it all.
