Intent on Posting

I think it is a good time to remind everyone that most posters on this site have the intent to either learn or share. Doesn't make any of us more right UNLESS we take that information we hold dear to our hearts and help kids learn. I received a pm from a poster that is skidish about posting their beliefs and/or observations because they are afraid they'll be attacked. That is not the intent of this board. Young posters, including players young in age, have questions and should feel like this is a place where they can ask their questions without reprisal.

We have outstanding members who happen to disagree in philosophy concerning hitting. They do not disagree, in my opinion, on what's good for kids and parents that need help. Please, seek to be a resource if you are in the know, share what you have to offer and avoid personal attacks.

Well said. When I first came across this site I enjoyed reading all the threads. I was a bit intimidated at firt to reply or start topics knowing I was not as knowledgable at some on the site. I jumped in and survived. It was just fine.
