Curious...is there many intentional walks happening this season in HS, as one was witnessed at our game last night...although completely understand the fundametals of it...

Don't quite know what you're asking. Yes intentional walks occur in hs bb. Could you give a little more info as to the situation you witnessed?

Why is that when some people post a discussion about certain issues they are attacked? It seems that Good-Eye was just asking a question to start a discussion. I'm SURE that newscout has never posted anything about his "son" or whom ever.

I've probably seen a few more this year than I remember seeing the past couple years. Pretty much all the ones I've seen have been to set up a force play at a base.
I see it a lot aswell, it seems that sometimes a coaches will over think a situation and then it comes back to bite him. I mean in the right intentional walk scenerio do you walk the batter that's hot that night or a slugger who is having an off night. Tough decissions

OK I will ask a random question: Has anyone noticed that it seems much easier to hit the ball over the fence this year? Or, Let's list the 1st baseman's that switch hit.
get my point no one ask about walks because no one really cares unless your son is getting walked.

My sons are 18, 20, and 23. Two of them do not play ball anymore. My 18 year old just plays for fun, nothing serious. I just enjoy watching games and reading some of the "knuckle head" posts on here. It is entertaining to say the least! I have probably made some of those knuckle head responses too!
So, I guess my agenda would be....humm who are the top hitters that are 20 something years old that do not play ball anymore? Of course, my son's names would be tops on that list.

I think he talking about a kid that was walked 3 times and one with the bases loaded. Thats what Good eye is talking about. What you got on that scout

If that is really the case and that player is not his son I will retract my post. But the post should be named "NO ONE IS THAT GOOD OF A HITTER". But my guess is that the player that was walked 3 times is his son. So that would mean it had an agenda. I could be wrong and if I am I will be shocked and will apologize. Looking forward to hearing if I was wrong.

Good Eye has to much class to get on here and try to fish for compliments for his son, who by the way is a "Beast"! And even though it's not his son, what if it were, big deal! Base-Stealer you owe me an apology I just received verification by a PM that his son is the player that was walked. So stop trying to bluff your way on this board.
