One of my former players, now a top college pitcher, has an older brother. Never saw him play but dad tells me he was better than younger brother. His grandpa used to come to all his games...very tight family. Grampa passed away...next game kid was pitching and "threw the ball'' but it stuck in his hand. Next pitch...same thing...tried to work through it for a while never got over it . Kid was 16-17 years old at the time.

The best case of yips was the situation that prevented Dale Murphy from catching. It forced a move to the outfield.
