If the Kehrer kid is touching 94 with his size he might be a good draft. Still good to see that an Illinois college can tap into the talent down here.
SIBullets, I was shocked when I read that reading. He pitches against us each year and I really didn't think he threw that hard. Their coach is exceptional and so, if he says so...
CoachB, I don't doubt that he hit it. 94 from a lefty will get you some serious looks. I remember posting about our guys Broadway and Barrett and getting slammed when I said they were hitting 93-94. I have heard alot about both players and I'm sure they will do well.
Chicago area baseball people tend to be skeptical about baseball down there. This is another example of why we need to include our southern neighbors in discussions about who the best teams/players in the state are.
94 from a high school lefty will get you 1st round...Doesn't matter if he's from Alaska or Southern Illinois.
