Please join us on Thursday, January 29, 2009, 7:00 -10:00PM as Rockville Community Baseball, Inc. hosts the annual Rockville Express Collegiate Baseball Benefit Auction and Dinner. Special guests include Pedro Sierra, former Negro League Star & former member of the Washington Senator's organization; Tim Kurkjian, ESPN MLB Reporter and Author; and Pookie Wilson, former MLB player & KC Royals Minor League Hitting Coach.
Staged at the Historic Glenview Mansion, 603 Edmonson Drive, Rockville 20851, the event will provide a buffet by Blue Ribbon BBQ of Rockville and beverages. Auction items include East Coast vacations, tickets to sporting events, memorabilia and youth baseball lessons.
Tickets are $50 per person. All proceeds go toward supporting Express Baseball and the installation of ball field lights at Montgomery College Rockville. Plenty of free parking, good food and drink, fun baseball stories and relaxed conversation! And be sure to get your free caricaturist portrait compliments of Express sponsor TD Bank!
