Just stumbled onto a list of new minor league managers for 2005. A certain Greg Legg will be coaching Clearwater in the Florida State League.

There is another Greg Legg, who is a minor league coach. He's with the Phillies organization and coached in the Pennsylvania area in Wilkes Barre or in Redding -- my memory isn't what it use to be. My newphew played under Coach Greg Legg with the Phillies minor league.
Last year, my son played for our own greg Legg (Bama Bombers). I asked him if he had ever heard of him or were they related. He said he had heard of him and hoped to meet him someday. Not related.
I think the Clearwater franchise is affiliated with the Phillies. Sounds like he may have wanted a warmer climate.

There are actualy three Greg Legg's to my knowledge (if you can immagine such). BNA is correct, the Greg Legg who coaches in the Phillies organization and I are two different people. We have talked over the telephone before, but cannot trace our roots back far enough to close kinship. For sure he is younger, better looking and was a far better baseball player than myself...
