My son received an email from a D2 coach which stated, "I've watched you throw 3 times now. We definitely want you here." Goes on to say, "Keep your GPA above a 3.50 for the rest of high school. If you can do that, we will offer you a baseball scholarship".
Not clear on why they would wait until the end of his senior year to be willing to make an offer if they really like him or why the 3.50 GPA is so important...unless they are looking at a combination of academic and athletic scholarship.
Anyone run into this before?
