R1 with less than two outs.  B2 hits a routine ground ball to F5 who fields the ball cleanly and throws to F4 to get the force at second.  F4 after recording the out steps off the bag toward the left field side of the bag.  F4 makes no attempt to turn a double play due to a fairly slow developing play.  R1 slides directly to the bag but his slide takes him across the bag and he makes contact with F4 clearly beyond the bag.  It is a routine slide, nothing malicious, however it is illegal due to the act of making contact with F4 beyond the bag on a force play.

The question; although there was no attempt to turn a double play, do we need to call interference anyway and get a second out on the B2 due to the illegal slide?  It might be worth noting that F4 had time to step away from the baseline of R2 before the slide.  However, he kind of just stood there beyond the bag almost trying to draw the interference call.
