Here are the top teams in the I-8 IMO for 2006. Coal City will again be strong. Have won 5 of the last 6 regionals. Should be led by 3 year starter Austin McDowell. Also could have some younger kids, soph's coming up. QB fromfootball JT Blaine could be a mid infielder.
Wilmington again will be strong, but not as strong as the past. Will ride Dillon Roark along the way.
Reed Custer is an up and coming team. With Coach Coughill back in charge the program will be taking off.
Seneca has some good atheletes. Success in the hoops season could get them off to a slow start. Callahan should lead the way for them.
Not an I-8 team, but locally Herscher should have a real strong team. Coach Regez does a super job for the Tigers.
