4a games begin tomorrow. Lots of really good players. Should be a hoot. D1 coaches are dieing that they have to sit in their offices, (especially IOWA coaches that have a lot of players in the tourney.)

Iowa State tournament games have been a hoot. Except we got beat 4-5 last night. Very impressive Brody Brecht of Ankeny (2021 IOWA commit), was hitting 98 off the mound for 16 k's in 6 innings.
And he also had wild pitches that scared the hell out of everyone in the stands. Seldom see 4out innings.
Had to go in and read the story on the four-out inning. You came close, sorry to see your season end, but congrats on a great one.

True, but somedays it's about who gets lucky. Sounds to me like they did a couple of times.
Great memories, though, and a ton to look forward to.
Still have a season of HS ball and then off to Minnesota. What a good run.
I give Brecht his due. he was almost unhittable.
But you will gone from IOWA when we get there?!
