They spent a lot of effort trying to convince my son that if he were to come there, he would wind up at a top D1 program like Oklahoma State.
I would counsel you to look at where the program grads have wound up and see if those schools are places your son would like to be. The pipeline of D1's that they feed is varied, but is better at certain schools, especially in that geographic region.
From what we could tell, they are a very competitive baseball school and the people we know from Iowa seem to think very highly of that program and Indian Hill CC.
If he would have gone the JUCO route, IWCC would have been near the top of the list.

My son attended a showcase there this past weekend. Campus was very nice with many new looking facilities including the baseball and softball complex. The showcase was very well run and everyone seemed genuinely nice.
