Did anyone hear about the new prospect found in Irag recently. Scouts have clocked his velocity at over 90MPH. Is a bit on the wild side, did not locate very well.

Funny. Too bad there are only a handful of american born pitchers who can break 90. I can see MLB need to search the desert.

Might want to consider signing up President Bush as well as he is impecable in dodging a curve-shoe. . . or was that a breaking shoe?

I was impressed when I first saw the video and had to watch again only to find that the clown was a righty. They are a dime a dozen.
Buzzing the tower of the CIC will definitely get you on the radar. I'm just not sure that being on the radar in Iraq is a good thing.

I thought Iraq was being scouted more for hitters -- guys who can really knock some bombs.
The guys who could hit some bombs had a problem stepping up to the plate. They did it remotely while hidden behind some rocks.
The Scouts have been following this guy since his days in the "sand lots"! 
I just hope if they are serious about this guy I just hope they can get him to stop throwing his hands up and chanting AKBAR before he goes into his windup,

Sorry guys but it was just reported on ESPN 8 "The Ocho" that al - Zeidi will play in the USPL (US Penal League) and has just been signed by the Guantanamo Bay Jailbirds.
