What is the ideal distance when using an Iron Mike pitching machine?
What is the shortest distance that can be used?

We have ours set up at about 60'. If you have the room why would you put it any closer for normal use.
I saw one at a training facility that didn't have much room set up at about 30'. And the coach at times had the batters set up about 15' from the machine for some drills.

I know that 60'6 " would be the ideal distance. However, I think that I will have a cage with an approx. length of 40' and was wondering if that would be too short for an Iron Mike machine.

As I indicated, the one training facility had it set up at about 30' but you have to scale down the speed accordingly
