How everybody doing, this may be kinda lengthy so I just want to apologize before you contiune reading. First off my name is Choctaw Taylor,I've been playing baseball for quite some time now. Was ranked in highschool, and was a pretty average catcher. I was being looked at by acouple big name schools, because of my arm & bat speed; but was quickly turnt away because of my grades. So that lead me to playing at a juco. So to get to the heart of the story, acouple of things happen in my life while I was playing at the juco college, which kinda lead me away from baseball & more to focus on my life, and figure myself out. But I ran into a old coach & a rush of memories came back, which now leading me to want to go back & purse baseball. I feel I can play again, I was going to make the transition to outfielder. My only thing is I don't want to play in-state, the distraction here will do nothing but lead me away from the sport I love. So my question is how do I get in contact with out of state coaches, that will give me a shot. That's all I'm looking for is a shot, one shot that's all i need. So is it too late for me, or should I give it one more go?

those are good numbers..look up some naia schools and see if they will take a look at you..
Do you have juco eligibilty left? Also get in playing shape, make a cd of your skills and start working it towards schools you are interested in. Put in your high school stats and juco stats if you have any. Explain the situation to the coaches you
are interested in. You might have to walk on but you won't be the first to do that and be successful.

Almost every school has a recruiting form to start with and see the response. This is not the easiest path that you have taken but there is no reason you can't get yourself back on the field withsome effort.

Best of luck.
