Is there a metal cleat with flexible sole?

Is there a metal cleat out there that can flex in the middle of the shoe ? Every pair of metal cleats I have seen are real stiff on the bottom. My younger son 2015 had foot surgery (Tarsal Colation) a little over a year ago and his feet still hurt a lot when he wears metal spikes. Right now he wears a Mizuno erupt 9 spike turf shoe, it has enough flexibility not to cause him any problems.

Basically I'm looking for a new metal cleat designed like vintage cleats Here's a few links that will show what design I'm looking for. Any Ideas ?

Just a thought... Ever think of talking with a shoe maker (someone who repairs shoes) and asking them to design something around an existing set of spikes or cleats? It might cost extra, but it would solve your problem.

Funny that you mention that. While we were out at different stores checking out cleats, I was told today about a person in my area that can make cleats out of regular athletic shoes. At the third store we went to we found some Reebok Zig cleats and they seem to be what we are looking for. The sole is flexible because there is not a hard plastic piece on the underside of the cleat.
