....than having your son back home after freshman year?

Mine just rolled into my office after a 7 hour drive; grades are back up to legal and eligible status ( quite a climb from a horrible first semester), summer ball starts in 4 weeks, the red shirt is off, he looks great, life is good!

Now he gets to go watch the kid brother play high school ball tonight, who told him to bring a note book to take notes. Brothers.....

Hokieone,

Did you get a chance to watch the game with him? I went to a hs practice with my son on an off day last week and was amazed at the change in how he looked at the game. His "game" intellegence over the coarse of his Freshman year quite different. I don't think it was all teaching, I think it has a lot to do with the whole college experience. It cool to see them take that next step.

It sounds like your son also had to find himself and deal with issues. My hat's off to him for suceeding. It should be a great summer.
