Just spoke to PG, player is legit and the events attended and stats os as well as only PG can access that.
PG doesnt "plant" fake stories, as this person told me.
Access to site has only been player and dad. So no one hacked the info. More than likely a walk on.
And while they felt some comments were probably made in jest, the player isnt a joke.
Just wanted to clear that up.
Well, I had assumed any "hack" was from a friend and not a disinterested party. So, it would have been done from the dad or player's account. Pretty much all the info seems to have been changed and looks more like the work of a kid than a dad or even someone who would score 2400 on the SAT. It would also seem that some of the info is inside jokes. These can hurt in recruiting. My son has been asked a couple of times about his Twitter account because, before he changed it, his handle included "bong," and included sayings like "see the bong, be the bong." Although he dumped the account over two years ago, it still shows up on searches of his name. The actual origin is quite innocent.
His last name being Chandler, when we moved here, kids started calling him Chandler Bing which morphed to Chandler Bining to "Chandler Banong" and eventually to just "Bong." I was referred to as "Coach Bong" and my wife as "Mama Bong." When a kid on the team went to the mound, the saying became, Hey, Tanner, you're on the mound today, "See the bong, be the bong." Just a silly thing, but you can see how this looks to a recruiter when someone on facebook refers to him by his nickname "Bong." It's been a battle trying to get his friends to stop calling him that. So, something like changing his high school to "Weed," might seem innocent enough, but...
