OK, I'll throw this out for comments. Is what I'm witnessing at Clark and Addison for real, or is it a mirage. A manager making moves in games, and they actually work. The much maligned (especially on this board) Ted Lilly doing his part. Lou not afraid to try young players like Theriot and Fontenot and getting some production plus great defense. A very nice run with your closer on the DL.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've enjoyed this streak because it was NOT dominated by the home run. What a nice change from the usual. JMO.

No forfeit here. But what about those amazin' Mets? I haven't had as much fun watching a game as I did today watching them choke it away to the Marlins. The collapse of collapses and it couldn't have happened to a more smug and obnoxious bunch. At the same time watching the Phils and the amazing MVP Rollins, along with their fans just loving every minute of it.Ryan Howard is good, but Rollins just finished one of the greatest seasons any player has ever had, and he said in February that his team was the team to beat. Man, did he come up big. Good stuff.

Well the Cubs begin the playoffs on Wed and hopefully they found they cannot count on ex Cardinal Marquis
better go with 3 starters and leave Marquis where he belongs.....on the sidelines...
He definitely is a strong starter but cannot finish
has not finished for the Braves, Cards, and the Cubs are finding it out now...Take a look at Marquis stats the past 2 months....
also; look out DempsterQQQQQuestion mark there..
better start using Kerry Wood now...there is no tomorrow
