First i want to thank the FOG's on here that have posted a great deal of information I am sure it will be a great deal of help.
Our 2019 started his first High School summer camp yesterday they all got to meet the new head coach.
Our son is not able to throw right now due to elbow soreness just a slight strain according to the
doctors they have him doing PT 3 days a week for 4 weeks.
The coach said it was not a problem he could do a lot of the drills and all the running
He also got up today and went for a jog with his mom, first time that ever happened.
He came home today a little down, asked him whats up he said we got to hit today and he did not hit as well as some of boys.
I told him you do understand some of those boys are pushing 18 years old, he said I know dad but I still want to hit as well as they do.
So off to the basement he went to hit off the tee.
He also started a strength and conditioning program that includes an arm class that his pitching coach runs.
He can not do the throwing part of the class yet but can do the ROM parts of the class.
The high school he will be going to has not had a great deal of success that last few years and they
have not had enough players to have a Freshman team for a while now and unless a bunch show up in the spring
they won't have this year.
So it looks like he could see some playing time on JV.
time will tell.
