Will this complex be competing with the development that Dulins is doing in Memphis?

I hope they'll allow for plenty of parking. That's one thing that used to be a problem at many of the facilities we would visit.

I did sharpen up the sissors and I have been waiting by the phone ....nothing...no call! Just wait......They may want some grass cut later on. On a serious note, I am excited that Jackson will at last have some competitive teams coming into town. I can go watch some good youth baseball. I do plan to attend the ground breaking on Wednesday.

Isn't Pringles Park going to be sitting empty after this year? Are they tying it into the complex? Great idea if it works. BTW, are you going out to see Nomar the next couple of nights?

I will see Nomar before he leaves. The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx said they will stay for another year for sure. I doubt that Pringles Park will be empty even if they do leave after next year. Yes, they are trying to tie Pringles Park and the Sports complex together to some degree. They will be located in close proximity and most feel they will compliment each other. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Sounds great for the Jackson area. We went up there about a month ago while visting friends and caught a game. If the Diamond Jaxx leave who do you think they will get?

Fungo, I passed through Jackson twice last week and didn't even stop in to say hello. Please forgive me. I was on my way to Cincy and back. On the way back I said to my wife as we were passing through, "This is a nice little town! They have a Lowe's, Home Depot, Fazoli's....We could move here, I could go back into insurance and we could move here"

I just realized you live near there. Sorry I didn't stop by and say hello.

BTW any word about that accident that closed down I-40 between Jackson and Nashville on Sunday afternoon? We took a detour to old HWY 70, to get around it.

Thanks on the compliment on our town...I find it to be a good sized town..not too big, not too small. I didn't hear about the accident. Stop the next time and call...We'll do lunch!
