My son just got back from Japan, where he had a most exciting, interesting, and memorable experience traveling and getting to play on Bob Williams' American team in the Goodwill Series. Williams did a fantastic job organizing the trip and facilitating the series in a complex and sometimes difficult environment.

The team traveled by plane, bus, and Bullit Train to six major cities in two weeks, playing in BIG ballparks (including the Osaka Dome) against well-trained all-star teams who practice and play the game extremely hard.

The baseball lessons learned may prove invaluable, but the experiences and overall impressions these young men had will most definitely last a lifetime.

I just wanted to take my hat off to him and his organization. I would also recommend to any parents or players who post or read here: If you ever get a chance to participate in a Goodwill Series with Williams or his organization, DO IT!
