2-0 Japan wins with a walk off HR in the bottom of the 9th. 30 strikeouts by both teams in all. Two great teams.
Now that right there is what baseball is all about! Great game 0-0 all the way through to end in a walk off home run

EXACTLY...incredible play. And a fantastic job of pitching by both clubs pitchers. A Japan pitcher, in the 8th I believe, came in with one out runners on 2nd and 3rd and struck out two. Fantastic game.
Rats. I wasted my time watching the Yankees/RedSox fiasco when I could have been watching good baseball.

What an amazing game! Starting pitchers both threw 6 complete in 85 pitches with 11 k's. Pounded the strike zone! Both number 3 hitters werebig young men. Japan's was 6'200# and has 60 (yes 60) HR to date this summer. Chinese Taipei was 5'11" 195. both had great swings

The pitching was excellent and both pitchers did a nice job of taking advantage of a pretty ridiculous strike zone. The hitters also adjusted crowding the plate as much as possible and swinging at almost any outside pitch but the advantage very much went to the pitchers.
