Sophomore third baseman Jeremy Stache enjoyed an outstanding weekend at the plate as Army opened the 2004 season in Texas ... Stache collected two hits in all three contests and finished the series batting a team-best .462 (6-13) ... he also lists second on the club in runs batted in with four ... after batting safely in each of last season's final three games, Stache carries a six-game hitting streak into this weekend's three-game set versus Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC). Jeremy played his high school baseball at Alcoa.

Nick got his first win in his college debut. I know Nick's parents are really excited! Nick is a great kid. He played on the Thunder 2002 AAU National Runnersup team.
