Sophomore third baseman Jeremy Stache enjoyed an outstanding weekend at the plate as Army opened the 2004 season in Texas ... Stache collected two hits in all three contests and finished the series batting a team-best .462 (6-13) ... he also lists second on the club in runs batted in with four ... after batting safely in each of last season's final three games, Stache carries a six-game hitting streak into this weekend's three-game set versus Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC). Jeremy played his high school baseball at Alcoa.
