Thank you PD! What an incredible experience going to CUBA!
Blake was so pumped that night finally getting to pitch against CUBA. Since last year with the youth team beating USA in the final game his goal this years was to make the USA team and pitch against CUBA.
What a performance the USA team made against Cuba on their soil. Blake pitched the game of his life (so far) and with the help of Matt Domingues' 3 run homer and Mike Moustakes leaping catch in left field to stop a 2 run homer from happening USA shut them down.
Blake pitched the entire game. He was electrified. After USA won the crowd was cheering for USA. They love their baseball over in Cuba. They felt as (we knew) that USA was the deserving team of that game.
There confirmation of "You Deserve that Game" was to throw out Cuban Cigars onto the field.
We were sure glad to be back in the US on Thursday.

What a tremendous young man and ballplayer. Cuba beat me around pretty good in 1989 (with the USA Intercontinental Cup Team (college Fresh/Soph's). To throw like that against Cuba in Cuba..........what an accomplishment.
