Kenny… wishing you and Logan continued success. This is no small feat. Looks like you’re a big part of it… 1.770 ERA pitching a “workhorse” 40+ innings… batting .333… you even have a dinger.

Youre right SI, Barret really improves our pitching staff now that hes healthy. Hopefully the warmer it gets the harder him and I start throwing.

There was a Leyden Kid who went down to San Jack a few years ago...he didnt last one year its just a different ball game down there

I think he would have lasted longer than that but unfortunately tore his labrum.

I was just about to stick up for Miles when I saw that post but you beat me too it. Miles would have made it longer but as my brother stated he tore his labrum and never recovered.

Typical for a pitcher from leyden...they get abused in high school and never are the same...it happened almost every year I was there..

Good arm or bad arm...I just don't think he would have made it...he wasn't serious enough about baseball..he had a heck of an arm and a lot of talent

I honestly can't say I see it the same way as you. I don't feel as though my arm has been abused.

I worked several of his games while he was at Carmi/White County last year and he threw some NASTY stuff.

I think it is a little reckless to criticize Leyden's coach for ruining arms. I don't know what basis you have to make that claim. The pitcher you reference is the only one that I know of that has had arm problem after he graduated. Their pitchers throw no more than any other high school. In fact, I have seen them lift pitchers because the got too high in the pitch count. I know that is your opinion but I do not think it is fair to state something about a coach that is probably not true.

I can speak for myself and all of my teammates when I say that we are in no way having our arms abused.
