John A Logan College Volunteers ran their season record to 13-5 with a double header victory in their conference opener TODAY-- 5-2 and 2-1.

The twin bill victory was coach JERRY HALSTEAD'S 1,000TH CAREER COACHING WIN.

Logan plays again tomorrow at Rent One Park as they complete their 3 game series with Rend Lake and then take on Sam Carel's Jefferson College team from Missouri in the nightcap
