the best part of this, he never rubbed his head. and that had to hurt, it just had to.

Hey, that's not funny! That actually happened to me in a softball playoff game. The sun was over home plate in late afternoon, two runners on base and the batter hit a line drive to center. I came charging in to make the catch and at the most inconvenient time LOST the ball in the sun. I was 70' from the fence and it bounced off my head for a 3 run homer. Word was that it bounced so nicely off my head that it looked like somebody had hit it again! The batter said he'd been playing at that park for 8 yrs and and that was his first home run there.
I hit 3 hrs with 7 rbi's, we won 9-7 and all anyone remembered was me taking one off the head! For years after that guys would come up and say, "oh you're that dude that got hit on the head for a homer". Their shortstop said, " the Richard Cranium can't even catch a ball, all he can do is hit".

I feel bad for the guy too .
