Each workout will consist of a 60 yard. Dash, Arm Strength test from position, hitting in cages and scrimmages. Pitchers will throw bullpens or throw during games.
There will be a short break for lunch before the scrimmages begin.

All skills will be graded by McLennan Baseball coaches. Anyone who is interested in participating in the McLennan Baseball program during the 2007-2008 school year is welcome. In addition, any underclassmen who would like to be evaluated before their senior year is welcome.

7. Weatherford Jr. College
Try-out & Evaluation camp

Take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your ability in front of the WC Baseball staff as well as several other junior college and four-year institutions. This showcase is a great opportunity for several coaches to evaluate the state’s unsigned seniors and map out a strong follow list for the upcoming fall. College transfers are welcome as well.
The camp will be a traditional “pro style” try-out camp. Bring your own equipment and be prepared to be evaluated in the following areas: 60-yard dash, hitting, throwing, and defense. The evaluation along with contact information will be e-mailed to junior colleges and four-year schools across the state.
Cost: $50
Registration: no pre-registration – registration will be done on site beginning at 12:30
8. The Cisco Junior College Baseball Program will be holding open tryouts for all 2007, 2008 & 2009 graduates on Sunday June 3, 2007. It will be held at the Sandra Day O’Connor High School Baseball field in San Antonio, 12221 Leslie Road, Helotes, Texas 78023 (Northwest San Antonio). Registration will being at 1:00 P.M. & tryouts will begin @ 2:00. Players need to furnish their own equipment (bats, gloves, spikes, catchers gear, etc.). Other college coaches will be in attendance and there is a $10 fee for the workout. It will be a pro-style workout (60’s, throws from their position, pitchers throw bullpens, hit on the field). Each player will be given every opportunity to showcase his talent. If you plan to attend please send an e-mail to Coach Williams at jarrettmw@hotmail.com with your name and phone number. A map to the field can be provided at that time. In case of bad weather we will move the tryout to an indoor facility.

10. ANGELINA COLLEGE BASEBALL HOSTING CAMPS
The Angelina College baseball program will once again host several evaluation camps this summer, with two of those held by major league teams.
Players hoping to move on to the collegiate and/or professional levels are encouraged to attend an evaluation camp. Skills evaluated include arm strength, fielding, 60 speed and hitting for position players. Pitchers will throw from a bullpen for their evaluations.
The camps begin on June 7th with the Angelina College camp. The fee is $10.
On June 11th the Houston Astros will host the camp; and on June 13th the Baltimore Orioles will do the evaluating.
The camps wrap up on June 21st with another Angelina College camp.
Again, the fee for the camp will be $10.
All camps will begin at 9 a.m., with registration 45 minutes prior to starting time.

11. Midland College Baseball will be hosting their Tryout/Evaluation Camp on June 19th and July 16th at 10am at Christensen Stadium. There will be a camp fee of $25. All campers will need to bring their own equipment.
