Depends on how much it got soaked. My son left his glove out in the rain a year or so ago and it looked to be destroyed. We left it out in the sun for a few days. After it dried we put it in the closet and he used it for a practice glove.

But the glove wasn't useable for game play.

I reckon a .38 special would take care of it, perhaps a .22. Followed by a nice service...

Leave it out in the sun and let it dry completely. Then use some glove oil , shaving cream , saddle soap whatever your preference. It will be fine. It will shorten the life of the glove thats for sure because the leather will take a beating. If its an older glove with alot of use on it you might want to think about getting a new one. Ifs it a newer glove it will be ok.

We had a glove that seemed almost impossible to break in. It accidentally got left out in the rain and weather for a week. When dried out, it had softened and became a mainstay glove until it wore out years later. In our case, the water only improved the glove.
