JR Mens Softball Nationals

Have no knowledge of how young men playing softball would affect their baseball skills. Have heard some familiar MLB names that went through this program and was wondering. My son was invited to last summer to attend the camp that is being held in Chute Vista, Ca this week. Couldn't commit but we have a friend who was supposed to attend. Does anyone have info on this?
