Is it possible for a Juco player to play a third season at his Juco assuming he hasn't graduated from the school yet?

There are juco kids playing a fourth season this year.
Yes. Not only is it possible it’s becoming all too common.
I was thinking non-Covid-19 related. I do know a kid who was a 2020 HS grad. He played Juco D3 in 2021 (20+ games) and 2022 (50+ game). And he's back again this year at the D3. My guess is that he's staying for his associates degree before moving to a 4 year. He's not getting a COVID-19 year. Or, did Juco give that for 2021 too?
NJCAA declared that Spring of 2021 did not count. And NCAA agreed that it wouldn't count after those players transferred to 4 year schools.

Non-Covid you can only play 2 season, but no "clock" or age limit. I think the medical hardship waiver allows an additional season if you played 30% of the games or less.
