JUCO help

Try sending " Woodly" a PM . He is a member who posts in the illinois forum quite frequently. He runs tournaments in illinois and John Logan has hosted a few of them . He should have some info for you . I have heard good things about their baseball program .

Flamethrower - I don't have any personal insight into either program. However, my son originally signed with another JUCO in TN back in HS and ended up going for a year to one in IL. Schools that play both of the ones you mentioned. Both schools play in very good JUCO conferences.

I would think one thing you might want to concentrate on is if one of them can provide for your degree requirements better. Also, does one feed a larger school where you might want to eventually attend. If weather is an issue for you - there's a big difference between playing in February in IL vs TN. The IL landscape isn't nearly as pretty as the TN mountains. (Sorry all my IL friends!) However, it appears IL may be closer to home - for some that's a very important part of the fit.

Thank you all for your imput especpially SWDAWG I committed to Dyersburg State Sunday Night. I really liked the coaches and the facilities and I think I will really like palying in that conference. Thanks to all who provided info for me.
