Flamethrower - I don't have any personal insight into either program. However, my son originally signed with another JUCO in TN back in HS and ended up going for a year to one in IL. Schools that play both of the ones you mentioned. Both schools play in very good JUCO conferences.

I would think one thing you might want to concentrate on is if one of them can provide for your degree requirements better. Also, does one feed a larger school where you might want to eventually attend. If weather is an issue for you - there's a big difference between playing in February in IL vs TN. The IL landscape isn't nearly as pretty as the TN mountains. (Sorry all my IL friends!) Smile However, it appears IL may be closer to home - for some that's a very important part of the fit.
